Nash Falls by David Baldacci (Nov. 11, 2025) Thank you, @grandcentralpub and @hachetteaudio for the #gifted print and audio copies! #hachetteaudioinnfluencer
Walter Nash is successful by every measure, even if he lives a relatively predictable life. He is wildly successful at the finance job he’s had for 20 years, he has a beautiful wife, a kind daughter (even though he doesn’t understand how “influencer” can be a post-high-school career path) and he has a stunning, sprawling suburban home with all the bells and whistles. Then, on the day of his estranged father’s funeral, Walter is contacted by the FBI and told the company he has spent two decades with might be in bed with some very bad actors, and they want him to be their inside man. But things are even more complicated than they appear and he will need to become a new version of himself to have any chance of making it out alive.
I have been reading David Baldacci books forever. Absolute Power is a tour de force and Nash Falls is my new favorite book of his. With most male protagonist-driven books, our main character has a dark and complicated origin story that is fed to readers in small portions over the life of the series. What sets this apart is that this first book is Nash’s dark and deeply complex origin story. It is emotional on many levels. The story is gripping, fast-paced and it takes readers on a JOURNEY. I read it in a day because I couldn’t put it down.
🎧 Audiobook Thoughts: A 12h 54m cast narration by powerhouses MacLeod Andrews, Christine Lakin, Larry Herron, Shiromi Arserio, and Will Collyer will keep you on the edge of your seat for every gripping minute of the story. A must listen!
