The “Head Cases” squad is back with another complex set of crimes that will test their intellect and tenacity. This time, he and the team find a confidential informant in a weapons trafficking cases in found dead and during their investigation, a lead has them stumble upon a series of unsolved deaths. Are the cases connected? Are they separate? As they race to prevent an attack in the weapons case, they also seem to have stumbled into the crosshairs of a dangerous killer.
Head Cases was, hands down, my favorite thriller of 2025. It was smart, perfectly crafted, and full of addictive characters that I just loved. Inside Man was one of my most anticipated books of 2026 and I’m thrilled that is was such a fantastic ride. Rarely in thrillers do you get deeply constructed characters, but in these books we do – and it was wonderful to see all of them evolve from book-to-book. Like the first book, this one starts with a fantastic “hook” then dives deep into the investigation, culminating in a pulse-pounding conclusion. An it was fantastic.
