Banter-heavy snarky meet-cute? Check. Electric Chemistry? Check. Amazing friends to counter toxic parents? In spades. Themes of loss and forgiveness? Yes! A celebrity romance AND a small-town Scottish romance? Yep.I went in thinking “this sounds cute,” and then became deeply attached to Sage & Theo as they battled not being seen, heard, or treated by their families as they should be – and what it feels like to find someone in each other who truly does SEE the other. So much of the story is them pushing each other to make decisions about their professional lives that will give them more personal peace.
🎧 Audiobook Thoughts: Georgina Sadler does some sort of voodoo with this performance as I 100% thought this was a dual narration of American Sage and Scottish Theo. Just so good! (10 hrs and 43 mins)
