Willing Prey by Allie Oleander (Oct 7, 2025) Thank you @berkleyromance and @prhaudio for the free advanced reading and listening copies! #berkley #berkleyromance #prhaudioinfluencer

Claire Collins, a recently divorced PE teacher, is drowning in student loan debt – made more infuriating by the fact that she and her ex paid his loans off first. With her summers usually spent waiting tables, Claire is shocked when acquaintance Shane Underwood makes her an offer that could change everything: spend 30 days living in his remote home as his sexual prey in exchange for $30,000. For Claire, who shares Shane’s primal kink, the choice feels both terrifying and thrilling. She soon discovers that while being hunted through the woods is exactly her thing, the deeper craving might be for Shane himself.

This book is your friendly reminder: don’t shy away from stories that push you outside your comfort zone. You might just stumble across something fascinating. I had to do a few Google searches while reading (RIP, algorithm πŸ˜…), but what I loved most was how fully Allie Oleander immerses readers in Claire and Shane’s emotional and physical journey. It’s undeniably spice-forward (start to finish) but also layered with intimacy, vulnerability, and connection. I found myself invested not only in their chemistry but also in the side characters and setting, and I sincerely hope this is the start of a series. (Shane’s brother? His assistant? I need their story/stories immediately!)

🎧 Audiobook Thoughts: Narrated by Amy Hall and Aaron Shedlock, this dual performance is electric. They seamlessly capture both the everyday lives of a teacher and a lawyer and the raw intensity of the prey/hunter dynamic. At just over 9 hours, I devoured it.
