I’ve been a Mia Sosa fan since I devoured The Worst Best Man and The Wedding Crasher, and When Javi Dumped Marihits all the same perfect notes: hilarious, heartfelt, a little spicy, and deeply rooted in emotional truth. The slow-burn tension between Mari and Javi is chef’s kiss, and I loved how Sosa explores the fear of not being “enough” for the person who knows you best. The alternating timelines are seamless, and by the end, I felt like I knew these characters and had grown with them.
