Anywhere With You by Ellie Palmer (August 5, 2025) This was hands-down my most anticipated read of 2025 and I’m so grateful to @elliepalmerwrite @putnambooks @prhaudio and @bookedwiththeemilys for the #gifted print, digital and audio copies because I loved every single word of this story. #prhaudioinfluencer
Charley Beekman is 29, divorced, works too hard, had to sell all of her furniture to keep her house, lives in one room of said house, but she’s FINE. FINE. Then her sister announces she is going to marry her chaotic on-again-off-again boyfriend in the Minnesota wilderness in just a few days, and Charley knows one thing – she has to stop that wedding. She’s even willing to roadtrip there with her childhood best friend, Ethan, whom she hasn’t spoken to since they fought at her bachelorette party and he flaked on the wedding. Charley and Ethan are opposites in every way: she’s all about structure and roots; he lives in a van and chases freedom. But as their chaotic trip unfolds, what surfaces is so much more than just misadventures. Between laugh-out-loud banter, emotional reckonings, and a truly unforgettable cast of characters, this story is equal parts hilarious, heartfelt, and deeply human.
Ellie Palmer writes yearning like no one else – emotional tension that hums off the page. She also delivers humor that feels like the best kind of inside joke: organic, sharp, and full of warmth. A Winnie-the-Pooh reference had me fully cackling. I adored every quirky, messy, perfectly imperfect character, and by the end, I didn’t want to say goodbye.
Palmer’s sophomore novel absolutely shines, and she continues to master the rare art of writing a closed-door romance that feels emotionally expansive and breathtakingly intimate.
🎧 Audiobook Thoughts 🎧 Karissa Vacker is unreal. It may be solo narration, but it feels like a full-cast performance. Every voice, every emotion—flawless. (10h 21m)
