This was a perfect conclusion to a series I’ve loved from the start. Second-chance romance is one of my favorite tropes, and Camille and Dusty’s story had just the right blend of tension, history, and healing. I loved how the dual timeline let us see their love story unfold both in the past and present, offering a rich and emotional arc that made their reconnection feel earned and authentic. There’s heartache and laughter, unresolved longing, and a tender look at what it means to come home – to a place and a person. There is also, in this book, a really satisfying final, full-circle conclusion to the series that will make fondly remember all of the characters you met along the way.
🎧 Audiobook Thoughts 🎧Connor Crais, Savannah Peachwood and Stella Hunter voice this story (which Hunter reprising her role as Emme from Done and Dusted). They do an excellent job bringing these characters we’ve been circling to life and their narration lives up to the weight of delivering an appropriate conclusion to this charming series.
