I love when authors cross genres, and Julie Soto – best known for her swoon-worthy romances – completely nails this YA thriller. It’s moody, gripping, and dripping with high school drama, dark secrets, and eerie twists. Jodi’s voice is sharp and layered, and the mystery kept me hooked from start to finish. As an adult, I devoured this. Teenage me would’ve been obsessed. It perfectly captures the intensity of adolescence while delivering a suspenseful, smartly woven plot. Don’t let this one slip by – The Thrashers will get under your skin.
🎧 Audiobook Thoughts 🎧 Narrated by Eva Kaminsky and Jesse Vilinsky (yes, from Better Than the Movies!), this audiobook is top-tier. They absolutely nail the angsty, high-stakes, teen drama vibes, and I was fully immersed for all 10 hours and 53 minutes.
