I devoured this book. It’s everything I want in a romantasy: a richly built world that’s immersive without being overwhelming, strong character motivations, high stakes, and a slow-burn, high-tension romance that had me hooked. Rune and Gideon? Obsession-worthy. I stayed up way too late reading and I regret nothing. I already know this will be a re-read for me—it’s that good.
