Story of My Life is packed with zany, lovable characters and the kind of meddlesome small-town antics that make you wish you lived there. Hazel and Cam’s slow-burn romance is full of banter, spice, and the perfect nods to rom-com tropes like fake dating and grand gestures. Plus, with family dynamics that balance laugh-out-loud moments with real emotional depth, this book has so much heart. And, yes – there is a town bald eagle named Goose. And, yes – Hazel does cohabitate with a raccoon. It’s as fun and ridiculous as it sounds, and I loved every second of it.
