This one grabbed me from the first page and simply didn’t let go. It is a dual POV story between Camilla and the officer assigned to negotiate with Luke on June 21, but the story is much more complex than the seemingly straightforward spoiler-free description above. McAllister did a great job keeping me in the dark longer than most and as the threads started to pull together, there were plenty of OMG! moments. I loved Camilla’s perseverance in the midst of her world falling apart and all of the twist that brought us to a satisfying conclusion!
