Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales by Heather Fawcett (Feb 11, 2025) Many thanks to PRH audio and Delray Books for the gifted advanced listening copy of the third book in the Emily Wilde series. What a joy to return to Emily, Wendell, and this enchanting world! #prhaudioinfluencer
Emily Wilde and Wendell Bambleby are back, diving straight into the adventure foreshadowed at the end of book two. For years, Emily’s love of the fae world has been purely academic—until Wendell came along. Now, her knowledge is far more hands-on (and not just with Wendell!). But with Wendell’s kingdom on the brink of ruin, she’s facing an entirely new reality: no longer just studying the fae, but living among them. Becoming their queen. But before she can even consider that future, she has a lot of research to do.
This series is utterly magical. The blend of adventure, romance, and academia is so wildly entertaining, and the cast of characters – who have grown in depth and importance over the course of the trilogy—truly shine. As the stakes have increased, so have the characters’ growth, and I loved watching each of them rise to the occasion. At the heart of it all is Emily and Wendell, and their dynamic is simply perfection – polar opposites who respect, challenge, and balance each other in the best possible way.
🎧 About the Audiobook 🎧 @potterell and Michael Dodds return as Emily and Wendell in this lovely duet narration (Potter carries the bulk of the story, but Dodds voicing Wendell is always such a treat). Their performances have made each book feel like coming home, and book three – at 11 hours and 43 minutes – is no exception. If you’re considering audio for this series, do it!It’s an absolutely fantastic way to experience Emily Wilde’s world.
