This was my first read of 2025, and WOW—what a way to start the year! Ada and Jack are raw, funny, and refreshingly real, with layers of complexity that make their story so much more than a romance. Heather McBreen beautifully weaves a tale of self-discovery and learning to find fulfillment within yourself, paired with a smoldering slow-burn connection that feels earned, not rushed. The third act emotional arc? Perfection. And let’s not forget: there’s pizza. Lots and lots of pizza. 🍕
