Enemies Become Lovers in Holiday Hostilities

With the dreaded holiday approaching, Olivia unexpectedly finds herself with time off from her job as a flight attendant—but no place to stay thanks to her party-throwing roommates. Enter Aaron, who makes her a surprising offer: she can crash at his massive house while he’s away for Christmas, ensuring her dream of a holiday-free holiday. The only catch? She has to attend his NHL team auction and outbid a creepy fan who’s fixated on him. Olivia agrees, happy to burn through Aaron’s money to make that happen. However, as Olivia settles into being Aaron’s roommate, she sees beyond the infuriating boy she once knew to the man he has become and she begins to question if she got him all wrong (she definitely did).

This is my seventh Katie Bailey book, and it’s easily one of my favorites (though I truly adore them all). Bailey has a gift for writing closed-door romances that still radiate undeniable chemistry and emotional depth. The “enemies-but-not-really” dynamic between Olivia and Aaron is pitch-perfect, with their witty banter, button-pushing antics, and moments of genuine care creating a slow-burning tension that’s impossible to resist.

In a world saturated with hockey romances, Holiday Hostilities stands out as fresh, fun, and utterly charming. It’s the perfect blend of humor, heart, and holiday spirit, and I guarantee it will leave you smiling long after you turn the last page.
