The result is an inventive, heartwarming, and thoroughly entertaining reimagining that adds humor and complexity to a classic. It’s a unique exploration of loyalty, greed, and the power of friendship—all told through the eyes of a dog who might just be the most relatable hero of them all.

The audiobook, narrated by André Santana, is a standout. Santana masterfully captures Toto’s sarcastic tone and sharp humor, bringing the dog’s perspective to life in a way that feels fresh and engaging. His performance makes the familiar tale feel new and exciting, perfectly complementing Hackwith’s inventive writing.
