If you loved mystery books as a child where animals were fully realized characters with heart and humor, Pony Confidential is the grown-up version with extra layers of emotion, complexity, and charm. The dual POV between Penny and the pony offers a beautifully balanced narrative, with Penny grappling with her past and present while the pony faces his own share of high-stakes adventures—some death-defying, some comedic, and all deeply moving. At the heart of this story are themes of love, friendship, and kindness, with a reminder of how loyalty can transcend time and even species. It’s a warm, nostalgic nod to the cozy, magical mysteries that so many of us grew up reading.

The audiobook, narrated by Erin Moon and Blair Young as Penny and the pony, adds even more depth to the story.
