by Amy Lea – Thank you to @prhaudio for the audiobook! Am I reading this series out of order? Yes. Am I still loving it? Absolutely! #prhaudioinfluencer

Tara Chen, a romance novel-obsessed bookstagrammer, is on a mission to find her happily ever after. After her fiancé recently called off their engagement, she’s got a new plan: revisit her past relationships and see if any of her exes might be “the one” the second time around. Her new roommate, Boston firefighter Trevor Metcalfe, thinks the whole idea is ridiculous. He’s not looking for love—just his next fling—and is quite content with his revolving door of one-night stands. When Tara ropes him into her ex-boyfriend project, Trevor can’t believe she’s trying to live out one of her beloved romance novels, in search of the perfect cinnamon roll hero. But as they track down her exes, both Tara and Trevor start to wonder if their perfect match has been right in front of them all along. Spoiler alert: Trevor turns out to be the ultimate cinnamon roll.

This is the second book in the Influencers series, and I actually liked it even more than the third (which I enjoyed a lot)! Both books feature quirky, lovable families and offer plenty of personal growth for the main characters. Exes and O’s is a light, fun rom-com that’s perfect for getting out of a reading slump. If you love tropes like forced proximity, opposites attract, hilarious meet-cutes, and food as a love language—not to mention books where the guy reads a romance novel—you’ll adore this one.

The audiobook, narrated by Natalie Naudus, is a joy to listen to and enhances the playful tone of the story.
