This book was a viral sensation so I had to jump in and see what it was all about…and what a fun read!

After high school, Clementine “Emmy” Rider left Meadowlark, Wyoming, and never looked back. She went to college and rose to fame riding horses. But, after a riding accident, she heads back home to her family ranch. Luke Brooks is the town’s womanizing bad boy bar owner and Emmy’s brother’s best friend. Although Luke and Emmy have known each other since they were children, they weren’t close until her return when he became the only person she could share her fears about riding stemming from her accident. As they work on her return to horse riding, their connection becomes undeniable, and Emmy must decide if she wants to disrupt her future and her family’s dynamics. 

I’d read so many reviews of this book; the adorable cover alone made me want to read it. This is a fun, fast read that makes you care about Emmy and Luke and the numerous friends and family membets in Meadowlark. Even though it is a short read, it has so much heart and love.

The narration is fantastic and not overly western while being entirely believable.
