This is an atmospheric, creepy, spooky book perfect for October reading! It is my second Simone St. James book and my favorite of the two. The dual timeline keeps you on your toes and nervous for both women as they work to unravel the mysteries of the Sun Down Motel. The story takes lots of twists and turns. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it during the daytime. The audiobook was superb, with dual narration to complement the dual timeline.
