The second book in the Shakespeare-retelling Wilmont Sisters series held up to the high expectations created by Two Wrongs Make a Right.

Kate and her childhood neighbor Christopher hate each other. The good news is that they rarely see each other because Kate’s job as a photojournalist has her traveling the world. When Kate returns home, their antagonistic relationship reaches a fever pitch, and as they realize what their fighting has done to each other and the people they love, they begin to question if what they feel is hate or fire.

Chloe Liese excels at creating romance stories and worlds where we become invested in the main characters, secondary characters, their jobs, fears, quirks, and charms. She effortlessly represents the realities of many worldwide, in this case, chronic migraines, demisexualism, and ADHD. She also creates multi-dimensional MMCs who are strong because of their sensitivity and unabashed desire for self-improvement.

The narration of all of Chloe’s books is SO well done that it inevitably adds to the depth of her novels. This book is no different – with a particular shout-out to Stephen Dexter for his outstanding narration of Christopher’s character.
