First with a hunt for missing siblings with unusual powers, then for the truth behind what one of the siblings was searching for.

There were multiple times in this book where I thought I understood where it was headed and was enjoying it, only to have it be spun into something so much bigger and more earth-shattering, culminating in the last few chapters that were genuinely an “OMG! No way! WTF just happened? When is the next book coming?” moment.
