This is a fast-paced fantasy novel with a fun crime-detective spin. Bryce is seeking closure, Hunt is seeking freedom, and neither expected the attraction the blooms as they fight for their lives, their city, and their freedom. 

In this book, you are dropped right into the action, and there is A LOT of world-building in the first 150 pages. Stick with it; you’ll be happy you did, as SJM pulls all of the threads together and again creates a world you can’t stop reading.
