If you are a fan of second chance romances, Forget Me Not is a fun one!

Then: Ama is a wedding planner who loves weddings but never plans on getting married (her mom has been married 16 times). Elliot always planned on being an architect but has been forced by circumstance into the family floral business, and he hates owning a flower shop…until Ama walks in. Their hearts, lives, and work quickly become deeply intertwined. Then Ama breaks his heart.

Now: Ama and Elliot are both hired to work on a huge wedding that could make or break their careers, but neither has recovered from their relationship, and they haven’t spoken or worked together in years. Can they reignite the professional spark without their personal feelings going up in flames?

This book had a unique dual POV, dual timeline where Ama narrates the present and Elliot tells the past. I love both dual timeline and dual POV, and it mostly works here, but there were times when I felt like the story missed out on what I love most from dual POV, which is that you get to be inside the minds of both characters simultaneously. I loved the behind-the-scenes wedding business details in both timelines. The match-making brides in the present-day wedding are fantastic, and the endless step-siblings from her mom’s marriages are fun. Elliot is the classic romance novel boyfriend with flower tattoos and a no-nonsense exterior that belies a soft heart. Ama is infinitely likable as the quirky FMC with baggage from her mom and mentor trying to figure out who she wants to be outside their shadows.
