Book: ππππ Audiobook: ππππ
By Chloe Lise
I am a huge fan of how Chloe Liese brings positive representations of neurodivergent characters into her novels. As with the Bergman series, she does this beautifully in the fake dating novel Two Wrongs Make a Right.
Unbeknownst to Jamie and Bea, theyβve been set up. And it is not going great. Like, spectacularly not great. Once they discover that his roommate and her sister have decided to try and get them together, they choose to get their revenge by pretending to date and then break up spectacularly. However, their fake dating plan begins to form real feelings as this pediatrician and paper artist come to know each other and realize that they might fit after all.
Jamie and Bea are so fun together but also are exceptionally gentle with one another, mapping the elements of autism and anxiety that are part of their lives. As with her other novels, I enjoy that neither character βfixesβ the other but gives the other strength to stand on their own. Iβm looking forward to the next book in the Wilmont Sisters series, as both of Beaβs very different sisters were introduced in this novel.
