This is definitely one of those “the-cover-is-so-cute-holy-crap-this-is-spicy” books, just like To Love Jason Thorn (which you need to read before jumping into this book, there is lots of important backstory).

Recently dumped by her boyfriend, Lucy is staying with her friends Jason and Olive (who happen to be a famous movie star and a best-selling author) when Academy Award winning actor Adam Connor and his young son move in next door. So naturally, she can’t resist peeking over the wall separating their houses to look at one of the hottest actors in Hollywood. But, when her innocent ogling turns into a series of events that land Lucy in jail, Adam becomes her sworn enemy. Unfortunately, the same circumstances that make them distrust each other make Adam’s son adore Lucy and vice versa. As they are unavoidably forced into the same orbit repeatedly, their mutual attraction becomes undeniable despite their adversarial relationship…but is Lucy willing to trust so soon after heartbreak?

This book is funny, fun, and spicy, but it is also a sweet story of fiercely protecting yourself and those you love. As a bonus, you get lots more Olive and Jason in this book, which is excellent.
