I was not expecting this book to be five stars, but it was an absolutely perfect little story. Georgia and Alec’s connection is instantaneous, and when sometimes this feels forced, it definitely does not here. I enjoyed how both of them struggle with the importance of their careers and battle through trust issues, but also the tenderness and respect they show for each other. As the book progresses, you see how seemingly disconnected storylines come together in an explosive a scandalous way.
