I thought about this book by VE Schwab for weeks after I finished it because it was so compelling. Interestingly, it is one of the few books I had to pause reading because I liked it so much, and I was worried about what would happen to the characters. It makes you think about what it means to live a life and how much of our happiness comes from our ability to leave our mark on people and places.
