If Red, White, and Royal Blue got mashed up with Harry Potter, you’d have something vaguely resembling this charming series. It is, first and foremost, a fantasy adventure uniquely grounded in very normal life while turning that very normal life on its head, but it is also a great love story that leaves you cheering for Simon and Baz.
Although it has a very loyal following, I don’t think this series gets the recognition it deserves.
